2016: creates agreement going forward to partner with the Longhorn Open and make it an annual WRT event starting in 2017.

2012: (text captured from worldracquetballtour.com site circa 2013): "The World Racquetball Tour (WRT) provides a world-class platform for professional racquetball players to showcase their talents and develop their careers. Prior to the creation of the WRT in 2012, many of these athletes abandoned the idea of professionally playing the sport they love due to limited opportunities. The WRT addresses this need for high level competition and fuels ambition by creating a fair and equitable playing environment in which these athletes can thrive and continue to develop their racquetball careers.
